Knightdale - Ms. Mary Ann Whitfield Whitley, 73 formerly of Goldsboro, passed on Thursday, February 21, 2019. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Word of Truth Christian Fellowship (formerly Eastern Chapel MBC), 1401 N. Carolina Street, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park North, 1191 Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 11:00am to 11:50am.
She was born on March 19, 1945 in Wayne County, NC to Charlie and Mary Jane Davis Whitfield. She is survived by four children: DeeQuetta W. Kates of Goldsboro, NC, Johnice M. Whitley of Raleigh, NC, DoKeania Whitley of Knightdale, NC and Antonio Whitley of Columbus, GA; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four sisters; four bothers and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving friends at 1701 E. Pine Street, Goldsboro, NC, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
