The homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11:00am at White Oak Grove FWB Church, 2261 Big Daddy's Road, Pikeville, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Elmwood Cemetery, Hwy 117 Bypass, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 10:00am to 11:00am at the church.
He was born on May 17, 1931 in Wayne County, NC to Matthew Forte Sr. and Dorcas Coley Forte.
