Warsaw - Mrs. Mattie Dora Aikens, 89, passed on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Sampson Regional Medical Center, Clinton, NC. The celebration of her life will be held graveside on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 1:30pm at Devotional Gardens, 1260 NC Hwy 24 & 50, Warsaw, NC. There will be a viewing held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm in the J. Bernardo Rhodes Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremation, 195 Kenansville Hwy, Warsaw, NC.
She was born on November 28, 1931 in Sampson County, NC to John David Williams and Sallie Mae Swinson Williams. She is survived by her daughter, Heleana Lovelace; her grandchildren; one brother; one sister and a host of nieces and nephews.
