Goldsboro - Ms. Maxine Sauls Wooten, 74 0f 1723-A E. Holly Street, passed on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Duke University Hospital, Durham, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at 2:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Golden Gate Memorial Pavilion, Pikeville, NC. There will be a viewing held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home.
She was born on December 16, 1943 in Wayne County, NC to Jodie and Annie Mae McCray Sauls. She is survived by two children, Loretta Hicks Brewington and Donald Ray Wooten.
