Goldsboro - Mr. Michael Wellington, 69 of 207 Bunche Drive, passed on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at PruittHealth Raleigh, Raleigh, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 12:00 Noon in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC at 2:00pm. There will be a viewing held on Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 11:00am to 11:50am in the chapel.
He was born on June 27, 1950 in Wayne County, NC to Marshall and Amanda Coley Wellington. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Gibbs Wellington and children.
