Goldsboro - Mrs. Mildred Henry Carlton, 89 of 424 James White Ct., passed on Monday, August 12, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. The celebration of her life will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 1:00pm at the Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters, 1800 S. Slocumb Street, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC. There will be a visitation held on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters, 1800 S. Slocumb Street, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on August 26, 1929 in Lenoir County, NC to George and Beulah Powell Turnage. She is survived by her daughters: Cassie Pearsall (Ray) of Goldsboro, NC, Brenda “Peewee” Daniels (Nathan) of Goldsboro, NC and Mildred Royal of Goldsboro, NC; her sons: Windley Henry (Brenda) of Raleigh, NC, George Henry (Ella) of Clayton, NC, Thomas Henry (Lisa) of Goldsboro, NC and James Henry (Juliana) of Clayton, NC and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren other relatives and friends.
