Mr. Milford Best's Obituary
Washington, D.C. - Mr. Milford Best, 85 of 5532 4th Street NE, passed on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Washington Hospital Center, Washington, D.C. The celebration of his life will be held on Monday, September 7, 2015 at 12 Noon at Greenleaf Christian Church DOC, 2110 N. William Street, Goldsboro, NC with Reverend Dr. William J. Barber, II officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Best Family Cemetery, Tommy's Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Monday, September 7, 2015 from 11:00am until 12:00pm at the church.
He was born in Wayne County, NC on July 4, 1930 to Dock Best and Annie Flanagan Best. He is survived by his wife, Wilma “Sweet” Wadford Best; two children: Milford Best, II and Hope Best.
