Dudley - Retired Lt. Colonel Minnie M. Beverly, 91, completed her final mission on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC and now taking her rest. The celebration of her life will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 12:00pm with a viewing from 11:00am to 11:45 am at the J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 2:00pm with full military honors at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on July 3, 1931 in Johnston County, NC to Raford Avery Sr. and Nettie Williams.
Due to the floral stipulations of the VA Cemetery, the family has requested, in lieu of flowers, you may make a contribution to one of the following charitable organizations in her name: Military Women’s Memorial Foundation, American Red Cross, Tuskegee Airman Local Chapter or the AARP Local Chapter.
