Goldsboro - Ms. Nellie R. Brown Jones, 97, passed on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 11:00am at Mt. Zion Church Ministries, 323 Whitfield Drive, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Elmwood Cemetery, 900 W. Brick Street (Hwy 117 Bypass), Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on October 20, 1923 in Georgetown, SC to Robert Walls and Evelena Alston Walls. She is survived by her children.
