Dudley - Mr. Nicholas S. "Nick" Carter, 76 of 823 Genoa Road, passed on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. The celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 11:00am in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, Inc., 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Baldwin Family Cemetery, Powell Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be viewing held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 10:00am until 11:00am.
He was born in Wayne County, NC to Wilbur Outlaw and Christine Carter. He is survived by three sons: Sylvester, Kenneth and Matthew Outlaw all of Philadelphia, PA; two daughter: Cheryl Greene of Philadelphia, PA and LaShanda Johnson (Eric) of Goldsboro, NC; one brother, Leroy Carter of Paterson, NJ; three sisters: Shirley Hayes, Sarah Thomas and Doreen Carter-Stephen all of Paterson, NJ; granddaughter, Erykah Baldwin of Goldsboro, NC; a special niece, Tammyra Carter of Paterson, NJ.
