Kinston - Ms. Ollie Ophelia Anderson, 87 of 623 Lotus Pl, passed on Wednesday morning, January 21, 2015 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 12:00 noon graveside at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 4488 Hwy 70 W., Kinston, NC.
She was born on August 20, 1927 in Kinston, NC to Roger W. and Ollie Stevenson Anderson.
She is survived by one son, Walter D. Anderson (Carolyn) of Kinston; sister, Alberta S. Fleming, of Kinston; brother, John A. Stevenson (Joyce) of New Bern; grandchildren Quinton R. Anderson (Christina) of Charlotte; Dawn T. Anderson and Ivy R. Anderson of New York; great-grandchildren Demonte Anderson, DeVonua Anderson and Damar Anderson of Charlotte; caring nieces and nephews, cousins, church family, friends and students.
