La Grange - Mrs. Onnie Bell Smith, 97, passed at the Tower Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Raleigh, NC on Sunday, November 29, 2020. The celebration of her life will be held graveside on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 12:00 noon at Fairview Cemetery, 201 N. Forbes Street, La Grange, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on July 4, 1923 in Robeson County, NC to Tracy and Frances Strickland Burns. She is survived by three children, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving relatives & friends.
