La Grange - Mr. Oscar L. Davis Sr., 86, received his reward of faithfulness on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 1:00pm at St. Delight United Holy Church, 976 La Grange Road, La Grange, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a chapel viewing held on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on April 14, 1937 in Lenoir County, NC to Ed Davis and Lillie Mae Mitnaul Davis. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Minister Beatrice Body Davis; his children; grandchildren; siblings and other loving relatives and friends.
