Goldsboro - Ms. Pamela M. Young, 50, passed on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held graveside on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 11:00am at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US 117 Hwy South, Dudley, NC There will be a viewing held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on October 3, 1971 in Goldsboro, NC to Edna Young and William A. Mitchell Sr. She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her mother, Mrs. Edna Young Coston; eight sisters: Felecia (Bobby) Tucker of Elm City, NC, Johnice (Carl) Williams of Lake City, SC, Sandra (Wayne) Bizzell, Lenora Mitchell and Dr. Juanita (Charles) Whitfield, all of Goldsboro, NC, Judy (Curtis) Fletcher of Sandy Springs, GA and Barbara (David) Rogers of Houston, TX; seven brothers: Michael (Evelyn) Lane, Charles (Barbara) Lane, Elgin “Ebo”(Penny) Lane, Elder Darren Young, Bishop William (Myrtle) Mitchell Sr., Malcolm (Kemone) Mitchell, all of Goldsboro, NC and Timothy (Keshia) Mitchell of Atlanta, GA.; six aunts: Cora Lane, Ethel Coley, Pastor Minnie Stackhouse, Rosa Hardy, Margaret Ann Whitings, Connie Simmons and Alice Kowalski; five uncles: Robert (Sandra) Young, Willie (Elma) Young, George Lane, Jimmy Mitchell and James (Sherry) Mitchell; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
