Goldsboro - Reverend Paul L. Battle, 72 of 719 National Drive, passed on Monday, September 23, 2019 at home. The celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 11:00am at the Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters, 1800 S. Slocumb Street, Goldsboro, NC with Reverend Joe A. Jackson officiating. He will be laid to rest at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC with military honors. There will be a inspirational wake held on Monday, September 30, 2019 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1065 Tommy’s Road, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on March 19, 1947 in Wayne County, NC to George and Luevenia Hall Battle. He is survived by his loving wife, Florence Holder Battle and his children.
