Goldsboro - Ms. Pearline Raynor "Tootie" Faison, 78 of 605 E. Walnut Street, passed on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at 1:30pm at Word of Truth Christian Fellowship (formerly Eastern Chapel MBC), 1401 N. Carolina Street, Goldsboro, NC with Pastor Timothy Dortch officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Everett Cemetery, Old Smithfield Road, Princeton, NC. There will be a viewing held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 3:00pm until 6:00pm with the family arriving to receive friends from 5:00pm until 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations of Goldsboro.
She was born on July 5, 1938 in Johnston County, NC to Pearl Cox and Thomas Raynor. She is survived by one sister, Mary "Cat" Raynor Loftin. She resided with her niece, Anna Braswell Hall.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas "Hock" and Pearl Cox and her siblings: Margaret Raynor Braswell, Roy Raynor and Roger Raynor.
