Goldsboro - Ms. Peggie R. Chesnutt, 81, took hold of her heavenly fathers hand and left this earthly realm on Monday, November 27, 2023 at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 11:00am at Goldsboro-Raleigh District Assembly (GRDA), 211 West Hooks River Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Monday, December 4, 2023 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with the family receiving friends from 7:00pm to 8:00pm at at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC.
She was born on September 12, 1942 in Clinton, NC to Tommie Robinson and Kattie Harrison Robinson. She is survived by daughters: Michelle McCoy (Walter) and Charlyne Edwards (Eddie) and son, David Chesnutt; grandchildren; great grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends.
