Kinston - Ms. Peggy Ann Hood, 82 of 407 Taylor Lane, passed on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Lenoir UNC Health Care, Kinston, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 1:00pm at Greater St. Paul United Holy Church, 2101 Tower Hill Road, Kinston, NC. She will be laid to rest at the St. Matthew FWB Church Cemetery, La Grange, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, May 3, 2019 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home, 106 N. East Street, Kinston, NC.
She was born on February 22, 1937 in Lenoir County, NC to Allen and Edna Sutton Degraffenreid. She is survived by her children.
