The homegoing service will be held on Friday, July 5, 2013 at 11:00 am at St. Mark Church of Christ DOC, 700 W. Ash Street, Goldsboro, NC with Bishop Alton A. Smith officiating. He will be laid to rest in Wayne Memorial Park North, Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a wake and visitation held on Thursday, July 4, 2013 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. He was born on June 7, 1958 in Wayne County to James and Helen Pearsall Best. He is survived by his wife, Linda Wooten Best of the home; children, Jasmine Wooten, Goldsboro, Kameishia Wooten, Los Angeles, CA, Pernell Davis, Raleigh, and Chauncey Wooten of Goldsboro; sister, Suzette Best; Godson, James Parks and three grandchildren, Aniyah Solomon, Nakiyah Wooten and Summer Wooten. The family is receiving visitors at 1304 Franklin Court, Goldsboro, NC, where they will also assemble for the funeral procession. A professional, sympathetic, dignified and compassionate service entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
