Mr. Pinkney Cherry Jr.'s Obituary
Goldsboro - Mr. Pinkney Cherry Jr., 88, received his ultimate healing on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at the Service League of Greenville Inpatient Hospice, Greenville, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 1:00pm with a viewing from 12:00pm to 12:45pm at the Word of Truth Christian Fellowship, 1401 N. Carolina Street, Goldsboro, NC. His final earthly resting place will be Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC.
He was born on June 6, 1935 in Wayne County, NC to Pinkney Cherry Sr. and Alice Smith Cherry. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Newkirk Cherry; his children and other loving relatives and friends.
