La Grange - Mr. Preston L. "P.K." Kirkman Sr., 75, received his ultimate healing on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at UNC Lenoir Health Care, Kinston, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at 2:00pm at St. Mary FWB Church, 311 Arba Jason Road, La Grange, NC. There will be a viewing held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm with the family receiving friends from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 2:00pm at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road,Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on July 9, 1947 in Greene County, NC to Willie Kirkman and Milza Adell Dawson Kirkman. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Ada Williams Kirkman; his children; grandchildren; his siblings and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
