Pennsylvania - Ms. Queen Esther "Toot" Taylor, 70 formerly of Wayne County, departed this earthly life on Monday, November 5, 2018 in Easton, Pennsylvania. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
Queen was born on March 11, 1948 in Jones County, NC to Mrs. Rosia Lee Waters Taylor and the late Henry Milton Taylor. She was raised by the late Mr. Archie and Mrs. Zephia Edwards in Dudley, North Carolina.
Queen was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, Sister and friend. She was preceded in death by one son, Michael and one sister, Zella Suggs Taylor. Queen leaves her cherished memories to her mother, Mrs. Rosia Lee Suggs and step-father, George Suggs Jr. of LaGrange, NC, her daughter, Audrey, a son, David; five grandchildren; five brothers: Johnny Taylor (Shirley) of Goldsboro, NC, Walter Taylor (Rose) of Kinston, NC, Ben Suggs of New Bern, NC, Shawn Suggs (Bonita) of Kinston, NC and Dexter Suggs of LaGrange, NC; two sisters: Georgia Ann Johnson (Walter) of Hinesville, GA and Sonya Williams (Carson) of Snow Hill, NC; four nephews, six nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.
