Goldsboro- It is with deep sorrow and humble hearts that we announce the passing of Ms. Rachel Kornegay age 72, who was called home on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at Kitty Askins Hospice Care in Goldsboro, North Carolina surrounded by her loving sister. Though Ms. Kornegay is no longer with us in body, her spirit remains forever in all who knew her. The Celebration of Life will be Sunday, May 24, 2026 at 1:00 PM at J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534. There will be viewing from 12:00-12:50 PM. We extend our deepest condolences to the family and please continue to keep the family in your prayers during their time of bereavement.
