Goldsboro - Mr. Raddor "Rabbit" Harris, 87 of 2117 S. Slocumb Street, passed at home surrounded by his family on Monday, September 29, 2014. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 11:00am in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral
Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest in the Hooks Grove Cemetery, Pikeville, NC. There will be a visitation held on Friday, October 3, 2014 from 1:00pm until 7:00pm with the family present 6:00pm until 7:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel. He was on March 27, 1927 in Wilson County, NC to James and Julia Gills Harris. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Croom Harris; five daughters: Ethelene Jennette (Dwight), Linda Cox, Beverly Harris, JoAnn Whitfield, Kaye Gardner (Tony); one son:, Ronnie Harris (Lydia); 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
