New Jersey - Mr. Raymond Melvin Body, 76, formerly of the Parkstown (LaGrange, NC) Community, passed on Saturday morning, November 10, 2018 at the Robert Johnson University Hospital, Rahway, NJ. The celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 1:00pm at Mt. Zion Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1289 Parkstown Road, La Grange, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on November 2, 1941 in Wayne County, NC to Helen and OBediah Body. He is survived by his loving wife, Joreatha Blye Body and a daughter.

The family is receiving friends at the home of his sister,Minister Beatrice Davis, 1085 LaGrange Road, LaGrange,NC, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession at 12:30pm.
