Goldsboro - Ms. Rebecca Hamilton-Lofton, 88 of 509 Gulley Street, passed on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at UNC Rex Hospital, Raleigh, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 11:00am, with a viewing from 10:00am to 11:00am at Goldsboro Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 1314 Ben Brewington Court, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park North, 1191 Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on September 3, 1930 in Pender County, NC to Emmanuel Swinson and Sallie Jones Swinson. She is survived by one son, Shaheed Abdur-Rahman of Durham, NC and her siblings.
