Goldsboro - Mr. Richard Lee Lewis Jr., 67 of 1802 Beech Street, passed unexpectedly at home on Thursday, May 22, 2014. The celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 11:00am at Pentecostal Holy Church, 600 E. Pine Street, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest in the Elmwood Cemetery, Hwy 117 Bypass, Goldsboro, NC with military honors. There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from 1:00pm until 7:00pm with the family present from 6:00pm until 7:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral
Home and Cremations. He was born on November 30, 1946 in Wayne County, NC to Richard Lee and Lottie Edwards Lewis Sr. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife,
Thomasina Solomon Lewis; two daughters: Tunisia Pierce of the home and
Liz Swinson of Greensboro, NC; two sons: Anthony Swinson of Greensboro,
NC and William Swinson (Monique) of Camden, NC; ten grandchildren:
Jermol, Nyiesha, India, William II, Taniyah, Derrica, Kelvia, Thomas,
Anthony Jr. and Thomasia; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn
L. Williams (Johnny) of Goldsboro, NC; one brother, Walter Lewis
(Loretta) of Boston, MA; three aunts: Gertrude Daye, Edith Lewis and
Helena Lewis all of Goldsboro, NC; one uncle, Joe Lewis (Johnnie) of
