I worked side by side with Richard on the back of our oldest Fire Engine truck. Once we both knew that each other were also Military members we became friends. He taught so many little things about being a firefighter! Richard and I were trying to get together for a lunch date these past few weeks. Back in 2009, I needed some muscles to move our big furniture, and Richard told me that his son's would help me out! They moved our furniture so fast. His sons were very friendly like Richard. I miss our times at Goldsboro Fire Department. Until we meet up again Richard. Retired Firefighter Laurie Stensland.
