Goldsboro - Mr. Robert E. "Bootang" Bradley, 77 of 305 Central Drive, passed on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at Goldsboro Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 1314 Ben Brewington Court, Goldsboro, NC with Elder James E. Collins officiating. He will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC with full military honors. There will be a viewing held on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Goldsboro Chapel from 3:00pm to 8:00pm with the family arriving to receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations of Goldsboro. Masonic rites will be held.
He was born on September 12, 1939 in New Haven, Connecticut to Gladys Pittman & John Thomas Bradley Sr. He is survived by his wife, Noma Leggett Bradley of the home; daughters: Teresa (David) Godley & Mitchelle Greene; sons: Richard (Kristie) Greene, Harold L. Greene Jr., Daryl Greene, Anthony Marc Bradley; brothers: Edwin (Minnie) Bradley & Charles Bradley Sr.; grandchildren: Quemaria Greene, Akeem J. Greene, Jonathan (Brittany) Godley, Brittany Wilson, Ricktaveon (Rose) Greene, Xavier Bradley, Omar Bradley, Tytianna Williams, Janae Morgan, Xhane Bradley, Akeeyah Greene, Nicole Marieka Greene, Harold Greene, III, Steven Morgan and Aisha Bradley.
