A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 3:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, with Reverend Dr. Louis Leigh officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 6:00pm until 7:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial. He was born on March 27, 1936 in Wayne County, NC to James and Wynora McLamb. Robert Junior was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Flowers McLamb, his father James Smith McLamb, his mother Wynora Jones McLamb, his brothers, David McLamb of Long Island, NY, Paul McLamb, Moses McLamb and William McLamb of Goldsboro, NC, Ernest McLamb, his sisters, Elsie McLamb, Kathalene McLamb and Lula McLamb-Pope of Goldsboro, NC. He is survived by brothers, James McLamb (Francena) of Jappa Town, MD and Eddie McLamb of Baltimore, MD and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A professional, dignified, sympathetic and compassionate service entrusted to J.B Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
