Goldsboro - Mr. Ronald Lee Everett, 70 of 106 Jessica Place, passed on Friday night, October 17, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. The celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 11:00am at St. Mark Church of Christ DOC, 700 W. Ash Street, Goldsboro, NC with Bishop Alton A. Smith as the eulogist. He will be laid to rest in the Southview Cemetery, Old Asphalt Road, Kinston, NC. The first visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm in the Nannie D. Loftin Memorial Chapel at Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home, 106 N. East Street, Kinston, NC. The second visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. He was born on January 8, 1944 in Lenoir County, NC to Francis Thomas and Christine Freeman Everett. He leaves to rejoice in his memory, an angel of a wife, Carrie; his children, Denise and Christopher; grandson, Blake; granddaughter, Latisha; sisters: Joyce Everett (Gerald) and Frances Everett both of Kinston, NC, Carolyn Todd (Eugene) of Bermuda; mother-in-law, Corrine Robinson; two sisters-in-law: Edna Jackson and Dorothy Washington; three brothers-in-law: Clarence Robinson, Willie James Singleton (Joann) and Dwight Holman; a special uncle and aunt, Bill and Bonnie Lawson, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
