Goldsboro Ms. Rosa Lee Reid, 77, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. A life celebration will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 12:00 noon at St. Luke Church of Christ, 430 Elm Street, Goldsboro with Reverend Michael Yelverton officiating. She will be laid to rest in Wayne Memorial Park North, Old Grantham, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the church from 11:00am until 12:00pm. Ms. Reid was born on April 13, 1935 in Edgecomb County to Arthur Reid and Nora Dupree Reid. She leaves precious memories with her children and grandchildren. A sympathetic and dignified service was entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, NC, 27534 or The National Cancer Society.
