Kinston Ms. Rosa Lee Thompson, 96 of 519 Georgetown Rd, passed on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at Lenoir Memorial Hospital. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 1:00 pm at St. Luke AME Zion Church, 514 Georgetown Rd., Kinston, NC. There will be a visitation held on Friday, October 25, 2013 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the Nannie D. Loftin Memorial Chapel at Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home. She was born on October 1, 1917. She is survived by her children. The family is receiving friends at 206 Heard St., Kinston, NC, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
