Goldsboro - Mr. Roscoe Williams Jr., 95, has completed his last mission and reported to his new duty station on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 12:00pm at First African Baptist Church, 803 Harris Street, Goldsboro, NC, He will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, September 9, 2022 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on August 27, 1927 in Wayne County, NC to Roscoe Williams Sr. and Goldie Inman Williams. He is survived by two children: Rodney(Patricia) Williams of Cypress, TX and Pamela(Michael) Gainey of Rocky Mount, NC; three grandchildren: Rodney R. Williams, II, Michael Gainey Jr., and Michelle Gainey and other loving relatives and friends.
