Silver Spring, Maryland - Mrs. Rose Lee Houpe Brown, 65 formerly of Goldsboro, NC, passed on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Regency Care of Silver Spring, Silver Spring, MD. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 1:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations of Goldsboro. There will be a viewing held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 in the Glenwood Cemetery, 2219 Lincoln Rd NE, Washington, DC.
She was born in Wayne County, NC. She is survived by one sister, Catherine Houpe Stoner and one brother, Joseph H. Houpe.
