Goldsboro - Ms. Rose M. Davis,88, peacefully transitioned from labor to reward on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at UNC Wayne Healthcare, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 1:00pm at Smith Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 713 Pineview Cemetery Road, Mt. Olive, NC with Reverend Antonio Blow officiating. There will be a chapel viewing held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC.
She was born on September 3, 1935 in Sampson County, NC to Herman L. Mathis and Rosa Williams Mathis. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, other loving relatives and friends.
