Fayetteville - Mr. Roy J. Robinson, 79 of 214 Cochran Ave., passed on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the NC State Veterans Nursing Home, Fayetteville, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 12:00 noon at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC with full military honors. There will be a viewing held on Monday, December 10, 2018 at the funeral home from 10:00am to 11:00am.
He was born on December 30, 1938 in Sampson County, NC to Tommie and Katie Blackmon Robinson.
