Fremont - Mr. Rudolph Smith, 66 of 510 S. Sycamore Street, passed on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 1:00pm at St. James Church of Christ, 514 Memorial Church Road, Fremont, NC. There will be a visitation held on Friday, January 8, 2016 from 7:00pm until 8:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. He will be laid to rest at Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC with military honors.
He was born on January 6, 1949 in Wayne County, NC to Corine Smith Best and Ervin Coley.
