Mt. Olive - Mr. Russell "Snooky" Almond, 66, passed on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 1:00 pm at St. Mark FWB Church, 222 Nelson Street, Mt. Olive, NC. He will be entombed at Carver Memorial Park, Breazeale Ave., Mt. Olive, NC. There will be a viewing from 12:00 pm until 12:50 pm at the church.
He was born on November 28, 1949 in Wayne County, NC to Russell Devon Smith and Ida Mae Stewart.
