Goldsboro- Mr. Russell Lee Mitchell a remarkable man of strength and resilience, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at the age of 86 at UNC Health Wayne in Goldsboro, North Carolina, The Celebration of Life will be Friday, June 26,2026 at 12:00 PM, at Greenleaf Christian Church Disciples of Christ, 2110 N. William Street, Goldsboro, NC 27530. There will be a church viewing from 11:00-11:50 AM. He will laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park South, 2925 US Hwy 117 S., Dudley, NC 28333.
