New Jersey - Ms. Ruth A. Bryant, 90, formerly of Wayne County, NC, received her Heavenly reward and has gone home to be with her Heavenly father on Thursday, September 22, 2022. The celebration of her life will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 12:00pm with a viewing from 11:00am to 11:45am at Barnes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 1108 Rosewood Road, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 3888 US Hwy 70 W, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on August 20, 1932 in Wayne County, NC to Charlie and Eula Foster Artis. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Leon) of Willingboro, NJ; one brother, Charles (Doris) Artis of Goldsboro, NC; daughter-in-law, Susie Artis of Goldsboro, NC; two grandchildren: Raimon (Tonyelle) of Philadelphia, Pa; NC and Alicia of Raleigh NC. Great grandchildren: Mikal, Akil, Ajah, Noah, and one great-great grandchild Aaliyah; and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.
