Seven Springs - Mrs. Ruth Greenfield Harris, 93 of 837 Broadhurst Road (Indian Springs Community), passed on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a public viewing held on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life was held on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 1:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. She was laid to rest at the William & Mattie Greenfield Memorial Garden, Seven Springs, NC.
She was born on March 26, 1926 in Wayne County, NC to William Street and Mattie Flanagan Greenfield. She is survived by her husband, James H. Harris Sr. and two children.
