La Grange - Ms. Sallie M. Body, 96, passed on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at home. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the celebration of her life will be private for immediate family and close friends. There will be a public viewing held on Sunday, May 10, 2020 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on October 13, 1923 in Wayne County, NC to Elbert and Pennie Gardner Hunter. She is survived by her four children.
