Goldsboro - Evangelist Sallie R. Mozingo, 84, kept her faith and received her heavenly crown on Monday, September 4, 2023 at home surrounded by family. The celebration of her life will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 11:00am at the L. N. Forbes OFWB Tabernacle, 1800 L.N. Forbes St. SE, Wilson, NC. There will be a public viewing held from 3:00pm to 6:00pm on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Elmwood Cemetery, 900 W. Brick Street (Hwy 117 Bypass), Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on November 30, 1938 in Sampson County, NC to William McKinley and Candace Wooten Hailey. She is survived by her children, grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends.
