Goldsboro - Mr. Sammy Lamarcus Evans, 42, passed on Tuesday, November 21, 2017. The celebration of his life will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 12:00pm at Heart to Heart Prayer House COC DOC, 114 N. Caswell Street, La Grange, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Fairview Cemetery, 201 N.Forbes Street, La Grange, NC. There will be a viewing held on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 4:00pm to 5:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations of Goldsboro.
Sammy was born October 19, 1975 to the late Rufus Bailey and Penina Carol Evans. He is survived by his brothers: Charles Evans and Alexander Hargrove Bailey; sisters: Tammy Mathis (Anthony) and Latrice Bailey; two daughters: Jacqueline King and Samyia Evans; three grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and family friends.
