Goldsboro - Mr. Samuel M. West Sr., 73 of 111 Corbel Pl, passed on Wednesday morning, July 31, 2019 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 from 12:00 noon to 3:00pm with the family arriving to greet friends from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at the J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at a later at date at the Graceland Cemetery, 680 Delaware Ave., Albany, NY.
He was born on November 4, 1945 in Albany, NY to Samuel and Mary Slaughter West. He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife, Judy Dianne Bynum West and son, Samuel M. West Jr.
