Dudley - Mrs. Sara Faye Hatcher Mack, 76, passed peacefully on Wednesday morning, August 13, 2014 at home surrounded by her family. The family will celebrate her life on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at 2:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. She was born on December 3, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY to Charles Preston "Press" and Mary Greenfield Hatcher. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of forty six years, Abraham Mack Jr.; two daughters: Dr. Leslye Kornegay and Fonda Kornegay (Phillip); two sons: Joseph Kornegay and Ken Mack (Chantal); one grandson, Sean Kornegay; one granddaughter, Alexzandra (Ally) Mack; one sister, Muriel Mereday; three brothers: Johnny Hatcher, Preston Hatcher, and Marvin Hatcher (Veolla); one beloved brother-in-law, Johnnie Barnes; one beloved cousin, Ruth B. Greenfield, and a host of cherished nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Professional, sympathetic, dignified, compassionate care and service entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
