His life will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Sand Hill FWB Church, 3181 Neuse Road, Kinston, NC. Burial will be in the Southview Cemetery with military honors. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the Nannie D. Loftin Memorial Chapel at Loftin Memorial – J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home, 106 N. East Street, Kinston, NC. He was born on February 19, 1958 in Lenoir County to Charlie James and Leatha Moseley Mumford. He is survived by his wife, Billie Jean Mumford. Professional, sympathetic, dignified and compassionate care and service has been entrusted to Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home, 106 N. East Street, Kinston, NC 28501.
