Goldsboro - Ms. Shenita Simon Wilder, 45, passed on Friday, November 30, 2018 at home. The celebration of her life will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 12:00 noon at the LBJ Center, 1007 S. John Street, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a inspirational wake from 5:00pm to 6:30pm on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the Original Tabernacle of Prayer, 1005 S. John Street, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Fremont Cemetery, 174 Winding Branch Ave., Fremont, NC.
She was born on August 29, 1973 in Wayne County, NC to Larry Thomas Wilder Sr. and Brendia Exum Wilder. She leaves behind two sons: Darrius (Marisa) and Kristyn Wilder of the home; two precious grandchildren: Kamarra and Tristyn Wilder; mother, Brendia Wilder of Dudley; siblings: Tamara Wilder of Seven Springs, Launcelot (Lori) Wilder of Grantham, Melissa Artis of Stantonsburg, and LaQueila (Dwayne) Denning of Grantham; grandmother, Irene Exum of Selma; aunts and uncles: James (Karen) Wilder of Dudley, Johnanne (Roosevelt) of Elm City, Rosemary Wilder of Fremont, Mack (Angelina) of Washington D.C, Velma (Hobbie) Hinnant of Selma, James (Brenda) Exum of Kenly, Waddell (Marcia) Exum of Washington D.C. and Mona Exum of Wilson; a niece and nine nephews; and god-sisters and god-brothers; along with a host of special relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving friends at the residence of her mother at 310 Rollingwood Dr. Dudley, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
