Many years ago (but it does't seem long ago) I worked alongside Shermon at Alphagraphics in Charlotte, NC. He was the press operator (and I was the one who sent the files to the press). I have so many wonderful, positive thoughts of Sherm when I think of our years there. We talked about family, the hardship of raising kids, family up North, and food! His laugh and chuckle were infectious.
He met his wife, Vivian (during that time). Shermon loved and cared for all the challenges that his new life would bring. When they decided to take the big step and move. He never stopped thinking about of us here in Charlotte. He stayed connected all these years and sent a txt on holidays. It always brightened my day.
I wish that I could be there to share this moment with you all (to hug, cry and celebrate him). Shermon will always be an amazing friend in may heart. He will be missed & remembered.
Thoughts and prayers are with you. Susan Clark-Porras Family
